Mickaboo Domestic Bird Rescue won first place and some cash from Global Giving to help further efforts in bird rescue! The organization won with this photo I had taken of Mike, one of Mickaboo’s foster volunteers, with his foster parrot, Cappi. Previous info about the competition is below:
“Global Giving, a non-profit that connects donors with grassroots projects around the world, is having their annual photography contest! The organization with the most votes received, wins $1000 in funding for their cause, and I’m happy to say Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue has made it into the finals with one of my shots!
